Aloha Friends and Neighbors,
It has been my privilege to represent the people of South and West Maui for the past 12 years as your State Senator and to work on issues that matter to you, your family and our community.
I’ve continued to spearhead funding to keep construction of our new Kihei High School on track. As Chair of the Senate Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee, I’ve created and helped pass important legislation to improve healthcare access, support clean energy and diversify the economy. Most of all, I’ve listened carefully to many of your concerns and worked hard to translate them into positive actions.
As the economy slowly recovers, your Maui Senate team has helped bring home nearly half a billion dollars for ongoing community projects and programs. That means more jobs and much needed improvements for Maui County. But there is still much more to do.
I want to use my 22 years of experience to create a safer, healthier community and a stronger, diversified economy that will sustain us long into the future. I humbly ask for your kokua and your vote to continue moving Maui and our state forward.
Me ke aloha pumehana,
